How much is a class?

The cost varies depending on the event and the sign that you are interested in.  Our signs start at $20 and price will alter depending on size.

Do we actually build the sign?

YES! You will drill the boards together, add a hook, and paint your sign.

 

Do we get to pick the colors?

Yes.  There are 5 options for stain colors and dozens of paint colors to paint in your stenciled design.

 

Do we actually hand draw the design on the sign?

No.  The design is stenciled on the wood.  This is not a free hand project :) This is why we need to have your information prior to the event to create your stencil for you. 

 

How many people can fit in a class?

35 is the maximum.

 

Can we bring food or beverages?

YES! You are welcome to bring in some small snacks and drinks to share with your friends including wine/beer.  Just please bring plastic glasses to drink out of.

 

What type of stain and paint do you use?

We use oil based stains and acrylic or milk paints.  If you are pregnant or concerned about the stain fumes, please consult your doctor before signing up.

 

Do I need to decide on stain and paint color before arrival?

Yes, you need to pick your stain color - We have examples of stain colors online, if you have questions please let us know and we will assist you in picking the best stain color for you.   As for paint, you are able to pick those at the event.  We have a wide variety of stain choices, paint colors and painting techniques to satisfy everyone’s eye for design!

 

Can you change the design?

No, the designs are only customized/changed where there is a name, date, or city on the sign.

 

How long does a class typically take?

Classes are generally from 2 - 3 hours in length.
